Celebrate The Platters

As a Creative Director, Producer and Co-founder of Celebrate the Platters, Jamie's credentials serve him well. When he was just 14, he played as one of the first guitarist in the NOVA SOUNDS BAND around Toronto and area. His playing in this and other great local band brought attention from the producers at The Deerhurst Inn and Resort, which landed him a five year stint in the 1980's and early 90's. There, he was not only the guitarist, but also the music director for their well known Vegas styled extravaganza. Shania Twain got her start working with Jamie, in this very same show. He went on to oversee numerous custom designed shows, major cooperate events and galas all over North America as a contractor, event planner, band leader, musician, then later with his own group, Shearenergy. In his "SPARE TIME", Jamie continues backing up many famous artists from the 50's, 60's and 70's, often hosted by Bowzer's(Sha-na-na) Rock and Roll party.
